Weight - 314.4, down 1.6 pounds from yesterday, 19.8 from end of loading phase.
Hunger - Woke up feeling pretty good. We have church this morning so I'm excited to praise and worship God. After that I have beef and cabbage from FYV, yum! Hunger shouldn't be an issue today.

Summary - Today is a great day. For one, every day you wake up alive is a great day :) No matter where I am in my journey I'm just happy to be given life, and blessed to share it with my beautiful wife, my amazing daughter, and so many friends and family. For everything under the sun there is a season, and I am so grateful to God that this is my season for Shape. I am taking it one day at a time and nothing for granted. My whole goal is to be healthy, losing weight is a piece of that, and after my back surgery on 7/19 it will be about taking steps each day to prevent scar tissue and to be mindful of the recovery period so that no further herniation in my discs occur. Slow and steady wins the race.
I'm looking forward to church this morning. I'm in the mood to praise and worship for all that we have, even with trials like my back, my mom's health, not knowing if we will be chosen by the birth mom of a soon to be born baby and just waiting, not selling our condo and buying the house we love, we are so fortunate to have what we have. To be here in the STL, to have great jobs with benefits, my wife and I are so blessed each and every day.
So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:16-19
